Remotely Operated Vehicles
Development of a novel class of underwater, remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) with simplified manufacturing and constructability, increased mission flexibility, and enhanced survivability in harsh environments.
Responsibilities included:
Managing a mixed team of mechanical and electrical engineers, and manufacturing specialists to develop three vehicle types.
Designed and engineered all plastic chassis, pressure vessels, floatation and electronics housings.
Development of flexible mechanical integration of third party sensors, actuators and hardware.
